Over the course of this evening, we will be considering the various questions that arise about whether or not we have past lives. Most of these opinions will depend upon your particular family background, religion, social training and individual investigations on this topic. Most of you will have a definitive answer; some of you will come without having a strong opinion. Yet others will feel that there can be no real answer, since you believe that no proof will ever be enough to sway your position. For a few of you, like myself, who have had remembrances of specific lifetimes, outside of the one we are currently living, this may be an opportunity to share that experience and, perhaps, even find out why you have these memories.
Hopefully, by the end of this engaging evening, each of you will have a better understanding of all that you may `remember' about past lives and how that could fit into your overall purpose in this, the most important lifetime. Not because you are more important now, more than those 'other' existences, but because it is in this moment that you are, you live and breathe. This is the only really important point. The past, whether it was a minute ago, or a hundred years ago, or a hundred lifetimes ago, in this life, in this moment, you are simply you, and none other.

Reverend Debi Brady is a metaphysical minister in the Order of Melchizedek, ordained by Reverend Dan Chesbro and a member of the Sanctuary of the Beloved (New York).
