A monthly meet up to share a topic that relates to Mystics of all religions. Mysticism is a term used to emphasize a personal experience in which one is brought into a direct 1:1 relationship with the God within. This can take place no matter what religion you are. It is the inner path for all religions for Christianity it is called Christian Mysticism much like kabbalah,Zen and Sufism. We will talk, see films and learn from those who went before into a deeper relationship with the inner flame or fire that is the love that passes all understanding.


A warm welcome into the Milwaukee Spirituality and Mysticism Meetup Group.
You are in good company. Mostly - this is a new group comprised
of a few of Milwaukee's seekers and finders from various
mystical traditions. I haven't yet met everyone in the group
personally, but I'd like to have everyone attend a meetup where
we could all meet and discuss our journeys thus far, and
whatever else related to spirituality and Mysticism.
I am fond of Thich Nhat Hanh, Jesus, St. Francis and Ghandi.
I personally am a Christian Mystic. My experiences are
more along the lines of the Eastern Paths, which is why
mysticism appealed to me. As you know Zen is the Mystical
branch of Buddhism, and in Christianity we don't have a special
name except for just- Christian Mysticism. It really just means
that God is not only real , but also God is within , (and even
more radical): we can communicate and be in direct relationship
with the God Self. This is not really so radical to those who
have known of the true spiritual Paths where the Teacher leads
the student into the direct experience of the Realization.
(Kaballah, Suffiism, etc.)
One doesn't need to be of any particular Faith to be a member
of the meetup group. Everyone is welcome as long as they are
respectful and sincere.
This past weekend we just a had a four day seminar/workshop
with a Master Teacher on Simplicity, The Soul, and Awakening
the Spiritual Senses. It was awe-inspiring and transformative.
Please keep me abreast of any spiritual activities you become
aware of in the community as I will do the same.
It's a joy to welcome you , and I look forward to meeting
