Gathering of Hope April Meeting

The turning of the New Year is a symbolic time for growth and taking the next step in our lives. Please join us as we come together to celebrate being alive and our growing Spiritual, Metaphysical, and Holistic communities in Lubbock. The activities available for this year's celebration include Drumming, Dancing, Movies, Story Telling, Reflecting over the past year, and Sharing our gifts with each other.

Car rides will be provided before the potluck begins (4:00 pm) and after the party ends (1:00) am. Please contact one of the people below to arrange a ride. You are welcome to stay overnight if you bring your own sleeping bag, morning care supplies and some food to cook for breakfast. Please call and indicate that you are planning to stay the night. You are welcome to come and go as you please.

Logistics
· You are welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 to hang out or help prepare for the party.
· Please bring your dishes for the potluck by 5:30.
· The potluck dinner will begin at 6:00. You may graze as you please throughout the night.
· Drumming, Dancing, Story Telling and Sharing Our Gifts will start after dinner.
· The Movie will be selected and start around 8:00.
· Reflection and setting intention for the new year will begin around 11:00
WHAT TO BRING:
* Your Inspired Self
* A Potluck dish or drinks to share.
* Tools for Sharing your Gifts (i.e. drums, oracle cards, pendulums, instruments, etc.)
* Stories to Tell, personal or fictional, funny or dramatic. Stories that Inspire and Awe.
* Music that you like to dance to.
* A metaphysical or spiritual movie you would like to share with others.
* Friends and Family who like to celebrate life and want to create genuine community.

Directions:
1) Head South/West on 82/62 Marsha Sharp Highway until you get to Wolfforth.
2) Take the second exit in Wolfforth (FM 179) and head South on FM 179 for about 5 miles.
3) Pass the first stop sign (cross FM 1585) and continue south on FM 179 for about 1.3 miles.
4) Look for the Buena Vista Estates iron gate on the right ( 151st St.)
5) Head West on 151st St. until you reach Kelsey St. (the next intersection).
6) Head South on Kelsey and go through two intersections, the house is on the left (15503 Kelsey)
