The Seattle Struggling Activists/Burdened Givers Meetup
|
Feeling alone, drained or burned out in a life of activism or constant self-giving? You know who you are: the one always saying yes to someone else; the one who always has time for a cause or a donation; the one who takes spirituality and citizenship seriously while others don't; the one who is left feeling isolated and empty far too often. Come to this meetup. Don't be alone any longer. Receive--and give!--support. Find a like-minded community. Gain nourishment. Perhaps find new inspiration after a period of disillusionment. Be with others you can relate to. This is what community was meant for. Feed your sagging spirit in a world and a country that seem to be going mad.

What's New?

"Volunteering project? I'm your person. I volunteer with a number of organizations and never seem to be able to say "no" to anyone. I'm looking forward to meeting others with this same "affliction.""

-
"My name's Matt, and I'm a "give-a-holic." A struggling activist (but not necessarily as much of a burdened giver as I used to be), I want to establish a gathering of people who need to be in touch with each other. "
