A Religion Tourbus
|
Ever wonder what it's like to hear a khutba in a mosque? Celebrate shabbat in a synagogue? See Pentecostals speak in tongues? This group explores the religious landscape of New York. Every month we go to a different religious service in the city - Christian, Muslim, pagan, Hindu, New Age - and briefly meet to discuss the experience. It's a great opportunity for those who are exploring spirituality. It's also a window into how faith happens in New York. Both pilgrims and tourists are welcome! Group led by a non-sectarian religion journalist.
