Ever wonder what it's like to hear a khutba in a mosque? Celebrate shabbat in a synagogue? See Pentecostals speak in tongues?

This group explores the religious landscape of New York. Every month we go to a different religious service in the city - Christian, Muslim, pagan, Hindu, New Age - and briefly meet to discuss the experience.

It's a great opportunity for those who are exploring spirituality. It's also a window into how faith happens in New York. Both pilgrims and tourists are welcome!

Group led by a non-sectarian religion journalist.

What members are saying

Because it gives us a chance to look at new ideas and review pre-conceived notions.

Janet

This club is a great idea. It empowers people to experience more of what the world has to offer and in comfort. ...

“I enjoy the symbolism of the differing religions. Actually I came out here hoping there might be a midnight-mass trip planned. There's a church in the garment district, Holy Innocents, that looks promising.”

“I've fallen a bit out of step with religion, but I feel it would be worthwhile for me to experience spirituality from different perspectives and to discuss them with members and observers. Can't wait!”
