If you can, please help volunteer for Camp Indigo. They need more help. I will be attending all week.

The camp starts at 9 AM Monday through Friday, but they have slots open all throughout the day if you can't make it till later, or if you just want to volunteer for a specific time. Also, Friday is "Fun Day" where it's basically a big party for everyone involved (no drugs or alcohol of course, hehe...no plant teachers as well). If you just want to go to that I'd recommend that as well. In particular from 2:30-4PM there's going to be a Big Tent show with lots of cool stuff I'm told, and that if you can just make one thing, then that would be the one to go to.

For more information on Camp Indigo see here:

I went to the volunteer meeting for this today. It seems like it's going to be an amazing time for the children, and will be a great spiritual learning (or "unlearning" as Yoda would put it) experience for the adults. They are still looking for volunteers for the camp, and I highly recommend you give it a shot if you can.

If you want to volunteer please contact Jillayne with the Amala Foundation at:

476-8884 or Campindigo AT NO-SPAM!!! amalafoundation.org

Some more info from Jillayne:

Camp Indigo is truly an amazing week of sharing, serving, guiding, and learning from these beautiful Children!

If you have any fabrics, blankets, instruments, or art supplies that you do not mind being used at Camp, please bring them!

Spaces are still open for Children to attend Camp Indigo! To register online visit us at http://www.amalafoundation.org. You can also call, email, or stop by the Foundation.

Hope to see you there!

The Amala Foundation is a beautiful environment to hang out in, practice meditation, do yoga, stretch, whatever. Those of you who like Casa de Luz will like the Amala Foundation. In fact, they used to hold satsang at Casa.

They're open during the day Monday through Friday, and even on weekends you can go to hang out, although the rooms are closed.

Monday at 1PM Vanessa is holding a sit. It should be a nice time. Vanessa is a true spiritual teacher, and Austin is very lucky to have her. In fact, it's a shame that more people don't know about her and the center. I didn't know about it till Amanda Winters sent out an email about the satsang tonight. BTW, Amanda always sends out good stuff to do around Austin. I recommend signing up for her mailing list. Her website is here:

http://www.catalystforfun.com

Here's the foundation's website:

http://www.amalafoundation.org

They are also having the Indigo Camp for childrens' creativity coming up. Next Wednesday is the volunteer meeting for that. I will probably end up volunteering as it seems like a great event. It's on the website if you're interested.

Here are some videos with talks by Vanessa. I think you'll see what I mean. She's a great purveyor of the truth.
