- Hello! My name is Bob Hinkle. I'm an ex fundamentalist pastor who, in the early 70's, received an epiphany of a non-dualistic God. Naturally I didn't last long in my church after that. For thirty years I've been studying and writing on the subect.

“ Kewl. My dad was a Baptist preacher. Now that I think about it, his symbolistic explanation of the Trinity helped me grasp the concept of God in more abstract ways. Basically he said that the symbols stood for thing as much as the thing stood for the symbol. It was a huge jump for me to grasp those concepts at the time, but it was a good exercise in abstract analysis. These days I just see God as a semantic problem, and not too relevant for my daily life. ”
