Hi Im a student at GSU and I am interested in getting involved in Buddhism. I do not know much about the practices or even the religion at all, however what I do know sounds very appealing to me and I am bery interested in learning more. If there are any others at GSU that feel the same as me or are already practicers of the religion please respond to this thread.

I am not a student of GSU. I hope u find some to learn with.

To that end, I suggest u try contacting Campus Outreach http://studentorg.geo...
and
The International Student Club http://studentorg.geo...

If there is a Buddhist group in the area, but not on campus the Campus Outreach grou should be able to help u find it and possibly hook u up with a liason to the outside organization.

If ther is not a Buddhist group in ur area, u should be able to find some like minded individuals at (or through) the International Student Club.

Please try to remember Loving Kindness when dealing with people u r not familiar with in situation that make put u off in the beginning.

Best of luck on ur quest
